This bar and lounge located in the West Village was pretty empty when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, but I can imagine it getting pretty crowded by nighttime. The bartender kindly let me into the lounge area, filled with couches, pillows, and rugs, where I found the photobooth at the top of the stairs. The machine took my money and took my photos, but the strip never came out into the drying slot. The bartender called his boss to see if there was anything to be done, but no one was around to give us a hand. He returned my money, and I had to make do with a discarded strip I found when I ran my hand along the top of the booth - thanks for the tip on that technique, Steve. And if that's you in the photo, I'm happy to send it back to you, just drop us a line. UPDATE: As of October 20, 2007, this photobooth is no longer located at the Fat Black Pussycat.
