Why are photo booth strips wet when they come out?

Because an analog booth develops photographic paper in real liquid chemistry seconds before ejection, the print passes through a rapid electric hot-air drying blower. The paper base and protective gelatin emulsion are still slightly moist and warm when dispensed; handle the edges gently until fully dry.
