Fotoautomat

Fotoautomat was founded in Berlin in 2004 by a group of analog photography enthusiasts who wanted to preserve the experience of classic photo booth photography in an increasingly digital world. The company sources vintage photo booth machines from across Europe, carefully restoring them while maintaining their original chemical processing systems. Each machine is a piece of history, often dating from the 1960s and 1970s. Fotoautomat has played a key role in the revival of analog photo booth culture, particularly in Berlin where their distinctive orange machines have become cultural landmarks. They have expanded to other European cities and have inspired a global movement to preserve analog photo booth heritage.
