Lomography

Lomography was founded in Vienna in 1992 to preserve and promote analog photography culture. The company began by reviving Soviet-era Lomo cameras and quickly expanded into a global movement celebrating creative analog photography.

In the 2010s, Lomography began operating analog photo booths as part of its mission to preserve analog processes. These "LomoKino Booths" feature vintage equipment combined with Lomography's signature aesthetic—high contrast, saturated colors, and artistic vignetting.

Unlike traditional photo booth operators, Lomography positions its booths as art installations rather than commercial services. Booths are located in Lomography Gallery Stores, cultural festivals, and art events.

Lomography has also manufactured portable photo booth kits and DIY instant cameras, bringing photo booth experiences to events and private use. This approach differs from traditional fixed-location operators.
